Report prepared for a meeting of the Textile Operating Executives of Georgia giving answers of 26 Georgia mills and mill groups to questions about carding and spinning practice. The mills are not identified. Collection also contains an article, 1949, entitled Rayon Throwing by Samuel J. Miller, South Attleboro, Mass., Assistant Plant Manager, Belding Heminway, Morristown, Tenn.; the article is intended as a guide in laying out plants and gives information on equipment and labor needed, budgets, etc. Also contains an undated document entitled Elementary Textile Designing by J.G. Stickler, Associate Professor, Bradford Durfee Technical Institute, Fall River, Mass., for use of students in a designing course.
